UBP - Union Bancaire Privée is a Swiss private bank headquartered in Geneva. Its COO Division manages the bank's entire operations and is headed by the Chief Operating Officer. The division encompasses Operations, Finance, Information Management, Human Resources, and Logistics. COO employees are committed to delivering efficient, proactive, and high-quality service to both internal and external clients, supporting the bank's overall strategy with professionalism and enthusiasm. The Graduate Programme is a 12-month rotation through various departments within the COO Division. Key responsibilities include: Operations – Monitoring and Reconciliations: understanding the role and processes of the Operations department, proposing process improvements, participating in coordination of transversal projects, helping produce regular reports, and supporting reconciliation activities and investigations. Banking Operations: joining an Operations team, understanding processes and internal procedures, and supporting cash and securities services including transfers, treasury operations, stock exchange, and settlement activities. Risk Management: joining the risk management team, understanding operational risk through incident management and RCSA frameworks, and supporting risk processes. Master's degree in Finance or Information Technology obtained recently from a highly recognised university. Maximum 12 months of global professional experience. Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus. Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel; programming skills are a plus. Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across teams. Team player. Swiss residence required. Participants benefit from mentorship and a buddy system throughout the entire programme. The programme provides targeted professional skills development, practical banking experience, exposure to project management, stakeholder relationship building, and change management. There is a prospect of obtaining a permanent role within the UBP Operations Team upon successful completion.
