Conduct research in private markets as part of a PhD program under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tereza Tykvová. Collaborate with national and international researchers. Develop analytical and empirical research skills applicable across diverse career paths, ranging from academia to central banking and the financial services industry.
Outstanding Master's degree in economics, finance, or a related field from a leading university or business school. Strong interest in private markets. Demonstrated ability to work on analytical problems and solid empirical analysis skills. Candidates must fulfill the formal requirements to enrol in the PhD program in Finance at the University of St.Gallen (GPEF). Previous research experience in private markets or corporate finance is a definite plus. First practical experience in a profession closely related to private markets is also a plus. Application must include a single PDF with CV, motivation letter, Bachelor and Master transcripts, an exemplary academic writing sample (Master thesis or term paper), and contacts of at least two references.
