Vontobel Finance division is seeking a Technical Finance Operations Specialist to support End of Month Reporting Processes. The role involves close collaboration with Controlling, Finance, Data Platform, and application specialist teams. Work closely supporting month-end closing financial closings ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reports. Contribute to generation and distribution of financial and management reports. Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline processes. Document operational processes and identify optimization and automation potentials. Continuously improve existing reports to increase informational value. Degree from higher education institution in computer science or equivalent IT qualification. Young professional with service/customer orientation, precision, and high quality standards. Advanced Excel skills with focus on complex data analysis and transformation. Expertise in audit trail review and change log analysis. Strong SQL proficiency for financial data extraction, validation, and analysis. Proven ability to extract and reconcile large-scale datasets from ERP systems including SAP. Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. Solid understanding of cloud-based data storage solutions including data lakes and data warehouses. Exposure to APIs and automated data pipelines. Familiarity with modern data architectures including batch and real-time processing. Experience with Power BI/Tableau and reporting layer development.
